Pay by the second.

Pick a size. It's metered every second it runs, from a $20 monthly minimum. Stop it and the meter stops.

Prices in USD, per seat. A plan is prepaid usage, not a fee: its hours are used first, then usage is billed by the second. Included hours are hours of the Default size and expire each month. No egress charges. Plans include 10 saved snapshots per $20, and a stopped sandbox keeps its disk for 14 days.

Dark cubes are monthly fees and unused credit. Tide shows usage only; its plans start at $20 a month. Public list prices, October 2026, compute and memory only. Each competitor is on its cheapest plan that runs a sandbox for over an hour: E2B Pro ($150 a month) and Vercel Pro ($20, as credit). Modal counts 2 vCPU as one core. Vercel assumes the CPU is busy the whole time, since it doesn't charge for idle CPU. Free credits aren't included.

SDK

Create. Run. Stop.

Boot a full machine with one call, run anything on it, and stop it when the agent is done. You pay for the seconds in between.

agent.ts
import { Sandbox } from "@tide/sdk"; // boot an isolated machine for this agentconst sandbox = await Sandbox.create({ cpu: 2, memory: 4 }); const result = await sandbox.run("echo $((6 * 7))");console.log(result.stdout); // 42 await sandbox.stop(); // billing stops here

01

Real, isolated machines

Every sandbox is its own Linux VM with a private filesystem and network. Run Docker, databases and long-lived processes.

02

Persistent and forkable

Files survive restarts. Snapshot a sandbox, then fork it to branch an agent's work.

03

Scale to thousands

Start one per task, per user or per tool call, with no infrastructure to manage.

04

Per-second billing

Pay only while a sandbox runs. Stop it and the meter stops.
